As you can see, there's a poll to decide whether we should have a tagboard or not.
Know that this decision will have dire implications on the direction of the site.
Tagboard:
- All concentrated on one venue for discussion (+)
- But it'll be messy, and anyone can say stuff in it. Even though its unrelated. (-)
- Topics may die out quite quickly. (-)
Comments:
- Various ongoing discussions ensure topic stays on track (+)
- hard to hunt down who is responding to what(-)
- easily overlooked(-)

i suggest tagboard.. but not for discussion.. but more of a shout-out..
ReplyDeletebesides, i adjust my settings so i get updates sent to my email n it prettily organizes comments according to their respective entries. so nothin messy there.
having a tagborad for discussion will bring in ANOTHER messy factor (so we got 2 instead of 1) and it's not efficient.
